Becky Parker Geist

I wanted to be an author since she was six, when I wrote my first book—in orange pencil. Though not really worthy of publication, I was nonetheless very proud of this accomplishment, and my parents were wonderfully encouraging. I've independently published six titles to date. I'm the founder and CEO of Pro Audio Voices Inc and AMPlify Audiobooks Inc, serving an international clientele with audiobook production, distribution and marketing, including full cast productions—my personal favorite! Serving as President of BAIPA (Bay Area Independent Publishers Association), I present frequently on the subject of audiobook production and marketing. I co-founded two theatre companies in the San Francisco Bay Area and have worked Off Broadway in NY and the San Francisco Bay Area in a range of production roles. The mother of three wonderful daughters who are also my best friends and colleagues, I live in Portland, OR. In addition to writing, I also enjoy kayaking, biking, hiking, dancing, making music, gardening, tennis, playing and inventing games—basically, all things creative and outdoor activities.
