Becky Parker

An audiobook narrator and producer since 1981, Becky Parker Geist is the founder and CEO of Pro Audio Voices Inc and AMPlify Audiobooks Inc, serving clients internationally as a go-to place for audiobook production and marketing. Becky fell in love with narrating audiobooks in 1981 when she began narrating for Library of Congress. As a voiceover and theatre professional and using the name Becky Parker for all her performance work, she brings her theatre skills – acting, directing, producing, and marketing – to bear in all her voiceover and production work. Becky has narrated hundreds of audiobook titles. As a theatre professional, Becky has toured internationally and works bi-coastally in New York (Off Broadway) and the San Francisco Bay Area. Committed to leadership and building strong, long-term relationships, Becky serves as President of BAIPA (Bay Area Independent Publishers Association) and is a member of IBPA (Independent Book Publishers Assn) and APA (Audio Publishers Assn). She works collaboratively with creative and talented teams of professionals to help her clients achieve their audiobook goals. As an audiobook expert, Becky presents professionally across the U.S. about the world of audiobooks and is the independently published author of The Left Turn: Two Lives Worlds Apart (book 1 in the Split Universe Series); Audiobook Toolkit for Authors: Your Comprehensive Guide to Recording Your Own Audiobook, now available at authortoolkits.com, as well as two additional non-fiction titles and two children's books. Becky is obsessed with creating the ecosystem in which books can bring us together in ways that help us all thrive. Becky resides in the Portland, OR, area and has three adult daughters who are also her very best friends, as well as two delightful granddaughters. She and her partner enjoy kayaking, biking, dancing, making music together, gardening, time on the coast and loving life fully.
